St. Paul's provides a traditional nurturing nursery school setting. We support learning through play and working with the children as they become part of a small community. They have the opportunity to get to know themselves and each other as they explore their environment.
There are two classes, one for the younger and one for the older children. Activities are set up in each class involving different areas: art, cooking, science, reading, music, building, sand or water and dramatic play. There is also a jumping room and an outdoor area for climbing and running. After a small group story and music time, the two classes share snack and a generous time outdoors before the noon pick-up.
We work to keep the cost comparatively low and do not require fund raising. Parents can volunteer on the two work days scheduled in the fall and in the spring to maintain our playground. We have a fun potluck in the fall where parents get to know one another.
